I am an Artist + Designer with a specialty in illustration & painting.
In my process, I combine traditional mediums with modern design skills to find imaginative + considerate solutions for visual communication.
I am proud to be an active participant in my local arts + culture communities, and am looking forward to integrating here in Winnipeg, MB.
Until moving at the end of 2021, I was a board member for the Abbotsford Arts Council, a volunteer with Fraser Vally Pride Society, and an auxiliary staff member of CiVL Radio 101.7 FM (UFV's campus radio station). During my design studies, I was the Production + Design Assistant at UFV's student-run newspaper, The Cascade. In the course of the past 10 years, I've had the privilege to work with many other local non-profit organizations building positive, creative communities in visual arts, music + culture.

I believe in circular design, where sustainable life cycles and possibility for evolution are considered in the creation process.
Everything fits into a system, and we can re-design systems! Instead of a linear pattern - ‘make, use, dispose’ - we can shift toward circular thinking with goals to design resilient products, experiences, and services that evolve & adapt as we do.
To ‘circularize’ our future, we can start by understanding the diverse balance of our world & recognizing the space we occupy in it. We can create regenerative value by harmonizing with our intimately connected humanity.

I acknowledge that my creative practice is located on ancestral lands, on Treaty One Territory.
These lands are the heartlands of the Métis People. I acknowledge that the water here is sourced from
Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.

I also acknowledge that I lived for many years in the traditional, unceded territory of the Stó:lō Nation. I express my gratitude and respect for having had the honour to create, work, play, explore and educate myself while living in these lands. The Stó:lō have an intrinsic relationship with S’ólh Tém:éxw (Our Sacred Land), and the Stó:lō People (people of the river) have lived in the land currently known as Fraser Valley for over 10000 years.
